Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. To get quotes, we ask for gender, date of birth, self-assessed health, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term length. Six facts are sufficient to return rates. Name, address, and health records are only gathered if you move forward with an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They're the rates each carrier provided for the health class you picked. After underwriting, the carrier may confirm, improve, or adjust the class, which changes the final premium. Nothing here is a guarantee—quotes are estimates, and underwriting determines what you actually pay.
What happens when I click Apply?
You move to a secure application prefilled with your previous answers. The carriers' application system handles it. You can pause and pick it back up later, and you sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency (License 0B75129) runs the process.
Will I need a medical exam?
It varies by carrier, the amount, and your answers. Carriers that offer accelerated underwriting can decide immediately for eligible applicants based on paperwork and data, bypassing the exam. Each quote tells you whether an exam is required, possibly required, or not required.
Is a longer term better?
A policy term should cover the years your family would struggle without your income: a loan to pay off, children at home, a business that depends on you. Longer terms lock your rate longer but cost more per month. The quote tool lets you compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options side-by-side.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote system doesn't ask for contact information, we don't resell or trade your data, and our tracking doesn't use cookies. See the privacy page to see exactly what gets collected and who collects it.
